Tazio Nuvolari and Automobile Club Mantova
Tazio Nuvolari's history is strongly connected with the Automobile Club Mantova whose was the president for seven years, from 1946 to 1953, since his death.
Tazio Nuvolari Museum was founded in 1985 by the Automobile Club Mantova thanks the collaboration of the City of Mantua.
The Automobile Club Mantova realized the will of Nivola, who decided to leave his sporting heritage to the city and future generations.

Automobile Club Mantova: history and services
The Automobile Club Mantova was founded in 1926 as a private association for few lucky owners of cars. After the Second War World, it became a public organization for the representation and protection of motorists. It was recognized in 1975 as a public non-economic institution aimed to represent and protect motoring interests.
Today the Automobile Club Mantova has more than 12,000 members and offers a wide range of services that provide assistance through the effective presence on the territory that is guaranteed by the segmentation in more delegations.
The Automobile Club Mantova dialogues with government and local authorities showing a great interest for particular issues like road safety, traffic, parking and, more generally, for the management of people and goods mobility. The main aim is to represent and protect the drivers' interest.
