The remembrance of the President of ACI Mantova and the Tazio Nuvolari Museum, Alberto Marenghi:
“As President of the Automobile Club Mantova, I express my deep sorrow for the passing of Alex Zanardi.
In 2003 in Monza, we awarded him the ‘Golden Tortoise’, a historic symbol linked to the memory of Tazio Nuvolari. On that occasion, it was not only the champion who impressed us, but above all the man: his humanity, his energy, and his ability to convey the authentic values of sport.
Zanardi embodied courage, resilience, and passion with extraordinary strength, becoming an example for everyone, far beyond the world of motorsport.
To his family and loved ones, I extend my most heartfelt and sincere condolences, on behalf of the entire community of the Automobile Club Mantova.”
